Full Stack Web Developer

I was a business student, studying Information Systems, when I realized coding was the most exciting part of my major. Now I've recently completed Lambda School, writing and reading code everyday. I am confident that I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. Creative problem-solving is my passion, and I love translating that into clean lines of code.

Here are some projects I've worked on at Lambda School.

Rick and Morty API Project

This challenge explored Single Page Applications, React Router I - II, and React Forms.

The app displays a list of character from the tv show Rick & Morty. It consumes data about the characters from an API. I built a search bar for the top.

React Wars API Project

This challenge explored ReactJS, Function Components, component state and side effects. I created an application that uses ReactJS to consume live data retrieved from the World Wide Web and style that data nicely on the page.

Schematic Capture

This is a real-world application that I cross-collaborated on with team members from different technical tracks in Lambda School. The app was designed for a maintenance company that wanted to simplify their workflow.

The application allows an admin to log in and assign technicians to projects. Technicians then have access to machine schematics, and can take photos on their iPhone to annotate, helping them keep track of all the machinary parts, what has been finished, and easy organization for lots of data.

I worked on both front and back end.

NASA Photo of the Day App

In this project, I consumed the NASA API to fetch the "Astronomy Photo of the Day" or APOD. I also built a few components to render different pieces of data in my interface. Then I re-styled the app using one of the libraries I learned, styled-components. I built this app from scratch.
